About the Journal

J-CALSE: Journal of Chemical Analysis and Laboratory Science publishes scientific articles that particularly emphasize practical laboratory competencies, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), quality assurance systems, statistical experimental design, and the utilization of advanced analytical instrumentation for qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis. The journal serves as a platform for exploring innovations in analytical methodologies and their diverse applications across scientific, educational, and industrial sectors. J-CALSE accepts original research articles, review articles, and short communications. The journal's scope includes analytical method development and validation, advanced instrumental analysis (including spectrophotometry, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy), laboratory science, and the implementation of GLP principles. Furthermore, it focuses on the statistical design of experiments and data analysis (such as Response Surface Methodology, Box–Behnken Design, and Central Composite Design), chemometrics, computational analysis, and the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence in analytical chemistry. The scope also encompasses applied chemical analysis in food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, the environment, and natural products, alongside green analytical chemistry, sustainable laboratory practices, and innovations in chemical education and practical training.

J-CALSE: Journal of Chemical Analysis and Laboratory Science collaborates with the AI Creation Research Institute (LRAC) and PT. Penerbit Gramatikal Indonesia, and is supported by the Indonesia Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem (IAIE). The journal is published semi-annually, 2 issues per year (July and September).
