Author Guideline

Manuscript Language:

Manuscripts can be written in English.

Publication Frequency:

This journal is published four times a year, in April, June, August, and January. All accepted manuscripts will be published online in the nearest publication period.

Manuscript Submission Process:

  • Manuscript Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal management system. Authors who do not yet have an account are required to register first.
  • Publication Fee: There is no fee for manuscript submission or publication.

Review Process:

Every accepted manuscript will undergo a single-blind review process by at least one reviewer and an editor.

Manuscript Preparation:

  • Manuscript Format: Authors are required to use the JNE manuscript template with Bookman Old Style font. The template can be downloaded here: JNE template.
  • Writing Procedure: Manuscripts should be structured according to the following format:
  1. Title: Must be specific and effective (maximum 15 words), set in 17pt font, with capital letters for the first letter of each word except conjunctions.
  2. Author Identity: Includes Author Name (12pt), Affiliation (9pt), and Email (9pt) placed below the title.
  3. Abstract: Written as a single, informative paragraph (maximum 150 words, 10pt) covering the research background, objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions.
  4. Keywords: 3–5 keywords, arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons (;).

Manuscript Structure (Should be written in in 10pt font size with single spacing)

  1. Introduction: 400–800 words, including gap analysis and research novelty.
  2. Methods: Detailed explanation of design, data, and procedures for replication.
  3. Results and Discussion: Main findings and interpretations using tables/figures.
  4. Conclusion: Achievement of objectives and future directions.
  5. Acknowledgment
  6. Conflict of Interest: Disclosure of any financial, professional, or personal ties.
  7. References: Manuscripts must use APA 7th Edition with 10–40 sources (recommended mix: 70% journals from the last 5 years and 30% books), organized numerically by first mention, and managed via tools like Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.

Plagiarism Policy:

Submitted manuscripts must be free of plagiarism. Once accepted, the manuscript will be published in the next publication period.
